Extraordinary night at Vicar Street. Music and words. Inner Light was launched by Paul Muldoon and copies flew out the door! This book is the culmination of six months of workshops carried out in Behan Square, Rathmines and on Zoom with Ukrainian women writers, telling their stories of fleeing the war and settling in Ireland. I attended all the workshops as a volunteer and then I was asked by Fighting Words to edit their stories into a book and this is the result. I’m very proud of it.
